Japanese Black raised in Niigata Prefecture with a grade of at least A-3 or B-3 is called “Niigata Wagyu”. Niigata Wagyu raised in Murakami City, Sekikawa, or Tainai with a grade of at least A-4 or B-4 is known as Murakami Beef.
